About Rokey

Kelsy is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant and has been practicing orthopedics since she graduated from Midwestern University in 2013.
Kelsy’s initial introduction into orthopedics started when she was a collegiate softball player at Virginia Tech. She sustained an injury her freshman year requiring surgery. This surgery sparked her interest in orthopedic injuries, injury prevention, as well as proper rehabilitation post operatively. She went on to complete her freshman and sophomore years winning an ACC championship and was part of the ACC All Academic team and All ACC team.
She then returned to the University of Arizona to finish out her degree majoring in Physiology. During her time at the University of Arizona she was involved with various pre-med clubs and went to Costa Rica for a medical aide trip with international service learning. During that trip she discovered a passion in caring for the underserved populations both internationally and locally. Kelsy went on to obtain her Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. After graduation she worked at a local private practice specializing mainly in adult reconstruction and sports injuries. She then went on to Level One Orthopedic Trauma at Maricopa County hospital.
Kelsy’s own personal experience with orthopedic injuries as well as her time with level one trauma and outpatient surgeries makes her a valuable addition to the team. She has treated all age groups and a myriad of different orthopedic injuries from sprains to fractures and polytraumas.

Kelsy is engaged and the proud dog mom of two aussiedoodles. She is an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoys hiking, backpacking, paddle boarding, wakesurfing and snowboarding. Her real passion is traveling and you can find her out of town exploring somewhere new when she isn’t working.
